Creating pages
To create and populate pages, the site builder functionality is available.
Using this functionality, you can:
- Create pages
- Configure page content block by block, including the website homepage
- Configure SEO parameters for these pages
- Create catalog pages
- Link multiple pages and catalogs together
To create a new page, you need to:
- On the Page Tree page, click the Create page button
- In the modal window, select the page type:
- Blocks – a regular page
- Catalog – a catalog-type page that can contain other pages, catalogs, related pages, and regular blocks. This page represents a hierarchical tree structure of page relationships, which allows building blogs, product catalogs, and gallery catalogs.
Please note! When creating a Catalog, a Catalog block is automatically created in the Page blocks section. This block is unique and cannot be deleted or added multiple times.
- Enter the page title (the title can be arbitrary)
- Select a category (if the new page does not belong to any existing page groups, choose the Main group)
- Enter the page URL (Latin characters only)
Please note! For the page URL, you do not need to enter the full website address (http://mycite.vitrager.com/ua/). You only need to enter the final part of the page address (for example, newpage).
- Then click the Create button.
After that, the General settings section of the created page will open.
General settings
The General Settings section contains the following data:
- A switch to enable/disable the page. If the page is disabled, you can set up a redirect to another page (if someone tries to access the disabled page, the site will display a 404 error, but if you set up a redirect, they will be redirected to the second page).
Please note! Redirects for disabled pages can only be configured for pages on your website.
- Data about the last save (date, time, and user), language version of the page, and number of page views.
- Block with language versions of pages. If you have several language versions of the site, you can create the same page for another language based on the configured page, and if the user is on this page and changes the language of the site, this page will open. You can also link an already created page in another language to this page.
- Basic Information block. This block configures:
- Page title (which will be displayed in the browser tab and breadcrumbs)
- Short description (will be displayed when the page link is shared in messengers)
- Category (Which folders or directories the page belongs to. If there is no category, it will be the Main group)
- Publication date (the date the page was created; this parameter can be edited)
- URL - page address (can be changed if necessary)
- Tags (tags are displayed when creating a Catalog block for quick search)
- Parameter “Publish in the popular section” (used for the catalog page to raise the page up in the search results)
- Block with an image for the page. You can upload an image file from your computer or use a link to a photo. You can:
- Add one image for all size types, and the system will resize it to the required dimensions.
- Add an image for each size. Aspect ratio types and their sizes:
- Image 1.8:1 (576×320 px)
- Image 1.6:1 (576×360 px)
- Image 1.2:1 (576×480 px)
- Image 1:1 (576×576 px)
- CEO information. In this section:
- Meta-title of the main page - the name of the page in the browser (if the field is empty, the name of the page is taken from the main information), in search engines and messengers
- Description (what users can do on your site) - a description of the page that is displayed in search engines and messengers
- Keywords - required for search engines. Each word is entered after a comma.
- Index pages - a switch that allows you to enable or disable the visibility of the page by search engines.
- Prohibit browser translation of the current page - a switch that allows you to enable or disable the ability to translate the page with a browser translator. If you have multiple language versions of this page, it is better to prohibit translation
- Breadcrumbs. Used to create a page hierarchy. Placed on the page immediately after the website header.

- The “Delete page” button. After deletion, the page goes to the Trash section, which allows you to restore the page if necessary.

Deleted blocks
The Deleted Blocks section contains all deleted blocks on the page.
Please note! If there are deleted items, a triangle with an exclamation mark appears next to the title (on the left).(
).
This page displays the following information:
- Date and time of deletion
- User who deleted the block
- The block itself with all the information that was in it before deletion.
Each block has a context menu. To open it, click on the three dots (
) in the upper right corner of the block. A context menu will appear, containing:
- Settings - you can edit the content in the block
- Restore - restore the block.
Please note! After recovery, the block becomes the last in the list of blocks, i.e. it loses its position in the list that it had before deletion. - Delete - delete the block permanently.
Belonging to catalogs
In the Belonging to catalogs section, you can see which catalogs the page / catalog is linked to. This is required to allow displaying a link with a description to this page from a catalog page.
Adding a page as a child links the pages together, which enables automatic display of changes from the child page on the catalog page. For example, if the URL of a child page is changed, it will be automatically updated in the catalog, and no additional actions are required to ensure correct page display.
Please note! You can add both a page and a catalog to a catalog, which allows linking not only a page to a catalog but also a catalog to another catalog.
Child pages on a catalog page are displayed using the Catalog, Catalog (preview), and Catalog (popular pages) blocks. More details ➤ here
To add a page to a catalog:
- In the Belonging to catalogs section:
- click the Add to catalog button
- after that, a modal window with a list of catalog pages created in the system will appear
- after selecting the required catalog, a new record will appear containing:
- Name of the catalog of pages – displays the name of the catalog the page is linked to. Clicking it will redirect you to the catalog page, to the Child pages section
- Additional parameters – to open additional parameters, click the down arrow on the right side
. The following parameters will appear:
- Display in the catalog toggle – allows enabling/disabling the display of the page in the catalog. When disabled, the label Not show in catalog will appear. The same label will be displayed on the catalog page in the Child pages section.
- Delete the page from catalog button – allows unlinking the current page from the catalog
Child pages
In the Child pages section, a list of pages that are linked to the current page or catalog is displayed.
Child pages are of two types:
- Dynamic – the link is made to a page created in the system, not to its URL address, which allows making any changes to the child page that will be automatically applied.
- Static – the link is made to the URL address of a website page, which allows creating links to built-in website pages. More details about built-in website pages can be found ➤ here
Please note! Static URLs can only belong to your website; the system will not allow saving URLs of other websites.
The page consists of the following blocks:
- Search – allows searching by page name or URL address.
- Add – buttons for adding child pages. It includes 2 buttons:
- Link a page – when clicked, opens a modal window displaying a list of created pages for the current language version. In this modal, you can select one, several, or all pages by marking them in the list. For convenience, a search by name or URL address is available.
- Add a static URL – when clicked, opens a modal window for creating and configuring a static page, which includes the following settings:
- Page name – this title will be displayed on the catalog page as the main page title
- Short description – a brief description of the page that will be displayed on the catalog page
- URL – the address of the page to be added
- Date of publication – each static page must have a publication date (it is displayed in the catalog block if its display is enabled). It also serves as a sorting parameter when displaying pages (the later the date, the earlier the page appears in the list). The publication date is selected using a calendar by choosing the required date.
- View count – allows setting the number of page views, which may be useful when using a catalog page as a blog.
- Tag – allows adding tags to a page. Using tags on the catalog page enables searching, allowing you to create multiple different pages with the same or similar topics so users can quickly find them via search.
- Post in the “Popular” section option – marks pages that will be displayed using the Catalog (popular pages) block
- Preview image – allows adding an image to a child page that will be displayed on the catalog page. You can add one image for all aspect ratios (by clicking the Add shared image (for all aspect ratios) button) or upload separate images for each aspect ratio. You can also specify an image URL instead of uploading a file by clicking the last icon on the right side of the image block
and entering the image URL. To upload an image file, click the middle icon with the downward arrow
. Aspect ratio types and their sizes:
- Image 1.8:1 (576×320 px)
- Image 1.6:1 (576×360 px)
- Image 1.2:1 (576×480 px)
- Image 1:1 (576×576 px)
- Title and alt attributes – required to add a title and alternative text to the image. This is necessary for proper SEO functionality.
- Pages list – displays a table with a list of child pages. Clicking a page in the list will navigate to that page in the Belonging to catalogs section.
The table consists of the following columns:- Image – displays a thumbnail image; if no image is added to the page, a gray crossed-out camera icon will be shown.
- Heading – displays the page title, with the page creation date shown below it
- Short description – displays the short page description (if available) and the number of views
- Info – displays information about the page. It may include the following statuses:
- Not indexed – the page is inactive (disabled)
- Not show in catalog – in the Catalog assignment section of this catalog page, the Display in the catalog option is disabled
- Popular – for this page, in the General settings section, the Publish in the “Popular” section option is enabled. If this is a child page; if it is a static page, the Publish in the “Popular” section option is enabled in the page settings.
- Static – indicates that this page is static
