How the system works
Vitrager as SaaS-solution
The multilingual window and door configurator is the core of the Vitrager system.
The system operates on a SaaS (Software as a Service) model — meaning that companies and their employees access the software via the web, which is hosted and maintained on our server in Germany, based on a subscription.
The Vitrager software (system) allows you to:
- calculate prices for windows, doors, and other related products,
- create commercial offers (quotes) in any language,
- set up specialized websites with an integrated window and door configurator,
- enable window suppliers to grant dealers (partners) access to their prices and full product information,
- configure personalized and regional sales conditions (e.g., discounts),
- flexibly define pricing for additional services (such as measurements, installation, delivery, etc.),
- exchange data with third-party production software, payment systems, ERP/CRM platforms, and more.
Using the system does not require any programming or upfront investment to get started.
The simplicity of the system enables a quick start to sales:
- for new dealers from other countries/language markets,
- for new employees within the company.
Company types in the system
Each company using the Vitrager system has its own account.

- A company can have multiple users within the system, each with different permissions — just like in a real organization.

A company can sell its own windows either directly or through other companies in the system, by offering partner terms (dealer discounts) to them.
- Any company in the system can create its own products and become a supplier.

Creating Commercial Offers and Websites
- Having your own products in the system, or dealer access (partner discounts) from another supplier, enables you to create commercial offers in multiple languages.
Detailed instructions can be found in the section ➤ Company Orders - Similarly, having your own products or dealer access from another supplier allows your company to create its own website for selling windows using a simplified (eCommerce) window/door configurator, and to receive leads or sell products online.

Discounts and pricing in the system
Each company in the system sets its own exchange rates, taxes, pricing for additional services, and more.
There are three types of automatic discounts in the system:
- regional discount - based on the customer's region.
- partner discount - available to suppliers in the system. It grants special pricing and full product access to selected partner companies (via their email). This allows partners (dealers) to create commercial offers and build their own websites with the supplier’s products, applying their own markup.
- personal discount - also linked to the customer’s email address, but does not allow website creation. Instead, it enables the customer to log into the company’s site and generate quotes using either their personal discount or the margin defined by the company between standard regional prices and personal terms.
This model is ideal for working with individual commercial agents. It is available both to window suppliers and to their reselling dealers within the system.
A company that has created its own products in Vitrager can:
- directly create dealer companies (new partner accounts) in the system using specific email addresses,
- grant partner terms (discount and full product access) to an already registered dealer’s email.
In a company account, it's also possible to manually apply an additional discount or manually set a custom price for a specific order.

For window manufacturers, it is possible to export order data to production software / ERP systems in a universal format.
The universal order export file in the Vitrager system enables:
- direct automatic import of orders from Vitrager into other systems, including any manufacturer’s software or ERP platform,
- dynamic pricing in Vitrager based not on uploaded price lists, but through real-time queries to the manufacturer’s software,
- online verification of the technical feasibility and production lead time for each specific order via the manufacturer’s software.
